is there a way to have different security on files with in the same document?

Question

We are using 15.5.1 
 There are some document objects thath have multiple files associated with them. Most of the files are ok to be viewed by everyone with permision to see the document. However there are some files (with PII) which we would like to give additional protection to. Is there a way to implement file level security? 
 I know I could "hide" the files but that makes it difficult for those who legitimately need to see them.

Yes that would require uploading files to separate document copies with different security settings.

Yes Sue, 
 
 Open the Document Copy. Select the required file and "Show All" 
 On here there is a Security option that you can add the required persons or roles
