eB v15.6.1 Bulk Upload Relationships with INI file

Did some testing. Roberto mentioned that some spreadsheets doesn’t work because code is not complete and testing your spreadsheet did not worked for me with my data.. So I’ve downloaded internally latest versions and it worked on my data.
When I tried creating same VIG and VI as in your spreadsheet it did not worked even with my spreadsheet. It was not giving OK message but it could not find right controlling object (VIG). After couple more test found that backslash in VIGS code is causing also problems.
Julie try attached spreadsheet and let me know outcome.
I am trying that with our test environment and I get this error now 
The relationship is in Global (out of the box config when Gayle helped to install our eB many years ago) but our documents are in our 'CR_RSAR’ scope.

FAIL: The Scope for the Relationship must be equally or more accessible than that of the Document 'PGB1A-PDC-PRO-NCA-10140768 (A01), Crossrail Document Control Procedure'. (The Relationship is in 'Global' while the Document 'PGB1A-PDC-PRO-NCA-10140768 (A01), Crossrail Document Control Procedure' is in 'CR_RSAR').

Any ideas on how to resolve that?

Hi Carma, this reply is wrong I think. This issue is trying to create relationships via the provisioning spreadsheet and not bulk upload with ini file type of job. Thank you.

Would this allow for the bulk creating of links between existing documents in eB to VI structures or the creating of brand new eB documents and their relationship to VI structures?

I’m after a way for both but in particular of bulk relating existing eB documents to VI structures. I thought the provisioning spreadsheet would do this but I’m having issues with how my relationship template is in Global but my document and VI are in my scope.

Hi Julie, on the spreadsheet you need to add the scope for each document you are importing.
Is it Scope for VI or Relationships?

Document Bulk Import feature also works as update and should work in your case.
Using attached spreadsheet I was able to relate existing doc to GVi. As you have described I’ve created DOC and GVI under Test Scope. Bulk update template and ini files was created on Global scope and for relation I’ve used Inherit relation template which is also in global scope.
As my bulk template is in Global when doing bulk import action my default scope needs to be global otherwise bulk import even won’t launch , but ‘Test Scope’ must be active (when it’s not active bulk job fails with meaningless error).
I’ve tested this on 15.6 version but I don’t think there should be difference between versions, unless there would be a bug.
