Multiple Nested Work Orders

Is it possible to instantiate multiple nested Work Orders from a single parent Work Order Work Task?

The scenario is that a parent Work Order is facilitating an engineering design change 'package'.  One of the Work Steps in the parent Work Order is to spawn multiple child actions that all must be facilitated with a Work Order for each.  There must also be a dependency for all of the nested Work Order children to be completed prior to the parent Work Order Work Task being completed and the parent Work Order continuing.
