Are you able to create a search within eB and publish that search outside of eB to non-eB users? For example, if there are members of a group that don't have access to eB but would like to view an eB search is this possible?

I've a question about the Search as well but contrary to the original question, I'd like to know is it possible to hide the Search button for certain users.
This is because we may able to hide users' view on the Folder level, but if the users using the Search function and search the Document from the hidden folder, they able to search and open it.
If it's not possible, can you suggest other alternatives on how to resolve it?

Answer to your question, you can hide searches (not the button) by applying permissions on them, but I don't think that you should not do this. Search is used to quickly find document and disabling user to use search is not acceptable. You could create custom searches that would filter out documents related to specific folders, but then again, you would have to update them occasionally with new folders. I believe you need to apply permissions on Documents directly not the folder structure otherwise it will become impossible to control everything later when you will have large amount of objects in your system.
