Automatic Session Log Out

Hello,
No, there is no such property in eB and as details on session are stored in cookies to properly close session cookies need to be deleted from user side (best practice is to clear cookies from eB logout page).
I do think that this was not implemented on purpose as now how eB web is created, as it’s impossible to tell is user active on not when user is in Edit View. For some users, it might take couple hours to fill in all details in edit view and closing session would mean losing all the data.
Is there a reason or business case for this requirement ?

Sorry for the delay in replying. There is a business case for this, disconnection after a period of inactivity is a requirement of the companies IT security policy, and therefore not having this functionality means we are not compliant. In terms of losing data, we have no classes that require 2 hours worth of data entry and we could warn users that it will time out, and so to regularly save.
