Using Provisioning Spreadsheet to move New Doc Class, Attributes, Templates, Roles, and reports.

We are using eB 15.5.1 in Oracle 11g.

We have configured a new document class, attributes, templates, security roles, and reports in our development environment.

We would like to progress this to our test environment and production environment easily with out the fear of fat figuring something.

Is the Provisioning Spreadsheet the appropriate tool for doing this?  I have read up on the user guide and it seems like it would be.  I have even seen a demo of it years back.

I have exported the followings sheets from our dev system.

Classes
Attributes
CharUserDefined
Document Templates
Roles
Template Permissions
Reports

What I can't remember is when importing into our test system which already has 99% of the data that was exported from the dev system, is when I do the import do I need to delete the rows from the sheets that already exist?

Will it create duplicate data or an error or overwrite?  I think this is dependent on the spreadsheet but like I said I can't recall from my demo years ago.

This would be a great enhancement to the provisioning user guide to explain a little about the ramifications about importing duplicate data from each spreadsheet.  Just an idea.

The main spreadsheet that I am concerned about importing is the CharUserDefined.

Thanks for your help.
