Missing Database Sources

Hi Team,

I found out this morning that I was unable to access the Data Sources on EB SMC  with error message: "No remoting settings for the server of type 'Index'. Users were unable to log in to EB as unable to communicate with the App server. I noticed that the eB listener Service had stopped and I was unable to restart it. I later on found out that the xml file eB.Datasources.xml located in C:\ProgramData\Enterprise Informatics\eB\eB.Datasources.xml. had no content at all: 0kb. Would you know what may have caused the problem? is it a bug on EB 15.6.1.115? ( a restore of the xml backup file fixed the issue)

    Hello Stephane, 

    I've checked our internal system and could not find any active bugs related to eB.Datasources.xml file. I would think that antivirus might have caused this, but it's only a guess. 
    I would recommend going through Windows Event Viewer logs and checking for any strange activities around the time this issue occurred.
