Our organization will be using the Transmittal on eB for the first time & after done some testing, there are few things that we'd like to ask whether it is possible to do the following items below;
1. Currently only the Delivery Order (DO) numbering can be modified to suit with the project which we're working on, however for Transmittal the numbering is auto-generated & cannot edit / modify. Is there a workaround so that we can change or edit the number?
2. When client click Accept Transmittal on eB, is it possible to have a notification so that our Document Control will be notified either thru email or in the Work Exchange? So far the only way to check is by viewing on the Audit details under History sections.
2.1 When the client already completed the transmittal, we'd also like to know whether can receive a notification stating it was completed either thru email or in eB (apart from the History sections)
3. We'd like to have a specific reporting which will listed out the transmittal via eB. (currently only can use Search function via Delivery Order - DO).

Hi Adzrai,When you mention Delivery Order, did you mean Distribution Order?You can modify the Transmittal numbers by using different mask as per your requirement by going under System Administration > System Defaults > Identifications > Change the " Distribution Transmittal Mask" as shown below:
It is also possible to get notified when an object is approved by selecting below checkbox:
Regarding report for Transmittal, you can do the search choosing Distribution shown below:
Please let me know if you are looking for new eQL report that gives you all the created transmittal.

Thanks for the suggestion. So far I've tested the 'Receive Approval Emails' & I've noticed that even if the Work Order is not intended to me, I'd still received the notification email.
Actually what we're looking for item no. 2 and 2.1 is when the Transmittal has been sent to Client & they click Accept Transmittal as below, the transmittal originator will receive notification saying the client has accepted it.
Current situation is the transmittal originator can only check the update progress by clicking on the History section & will never know whether the Client has done returning or destroying the copies.

Using core eB functionality it's not possible to configure eB that it would be sending notifications when Transmittal are accepted or when file is returned by holder. This would require customization and this can be done only by Professional Services team.

Unfortunately this is hard coded into eB. My suggestion is that you contact your Account Manager to ask for customization on this issue by the PS team. It does not help to add this a SR as it might not be seen as urgent. You will have to ask the Account Manager to get PS to assist with this by changing it to the way you want it and help you with a Custom Report to show the relevant information. At present there is no option for this and might not be in the near future
