eB Security Table in eB Web 15.6

In eB Web you are able to expose the Security table in Edit mode using the Layout Editor:

However, the option to expose this in View mode does not exist in the Layout Editor:

Is this correct or is it a defect?

  • The security information is not included in the view layout by default. However, if you are handy with XML you could add it to the view layout by exporting it, modifying the layout with a text editor and then reimporting it. The problem is that all it would show in view mode is the raw permission settings (i.e. numeric values), not the checkboxes as in edit mode. This is why it is not included.
