I'm trying to update my System preferences to change the max number of rows returned in search criteria to something greater than 500. I updated Default Scope to Global and then open the eB System preferences.
I set Maximum Rows in Search Results to 1000. But then I go back to do a search and it returns 1501 rows with only 500 per page.
Is there any way for me to update the settings such that I will get more than 500 rows per page? Why is nothing changing when I update the Maximum Rows in Search Results?
I have same issue with System Preferences for Reports. No matter what I change these values to, I still get 500 rows per page.
Is there any documentation available to identify what these Options mean? The eB Web user guide I reviewed touches only briefly on some of these options.
Hi Thomas,
On eB Director go to Tools, Options and under paging change the Search Results to more. Please be careful with this and change back to 500 once you done. If this is set more than 500, on the general searches it will take longer to search as more results needs to be collected.
So just to confirm does this mean that we can only change the paging size in eB Director? There is no way to change the paging size in eBweb?
If so, can you explain what is the purpose of the Paging options (Maximum rows in Search Results and Tree Page Size) when going to Global scope and selecting the eB icon to update preferences?
When changing the paging size in Director, it should change in Web as well. If not, just change it in Web and press F5 to refresh. The maximum row results will allow for more results to show on your page.
The Tree size will only show the Tree breakdown on Explorer in more detail.
Hope this explains what you need.
