Files missing from Document Copy and not updating in Audit Trail

Good day, 

I update multiple files under one document and every month add a new report with a date, i then hide the files under the files section.

Recently i went to look at a previous file under the document and found one of the files are missing. There was no audit trail and i cannot find the specific months file. when i revert back to the distribution done and the transmittal it opens the latest report and not that specific one that is missing.

Is there a reason for this?

    Hi Dean,

    Have you checked the Audit details for related document, if it was added into the system or not.
    If yes, in which copy it was transferred to?

    If there are no Audit details, could you please check if you have audit history for any file upload or delete entry in the eB system?
    If not, you need to enable the audit track under File:

    Thank you for the reply.
     
    It seems that the Audit detail and the file for June / July is missing on the document copy? (These were hidden as only the latest months’ report is kept in the document)
     
    The document is not change controlled and is merely updated monthly with an additional file and distributed from there. We do have audit details prior to June / July and after that but for these months they seem to be missing?

    Hi Dean,

    I believe you can check the audit_info_def table for additional details.
    If a file every added into the system and was deleted, you can check when it was deleted and who deleted from the same table.

    You just need to know the file name and/or file id.
