In preparation for an upgrade from v15.6 to v.16.7.43.6, we set up a blank ALIM database, exported data from v15.6, and imported it into v16.7.43.6 using the ALIM Import/Export utility. There were some minor tweaks to be made, but I was able to push in almost all of our information. However, I am getting an error when I try to open any object (see below). It seems to have something to do with the Attributes, but I am not able to open the Attributes on any object without getting the same error. I checked the Attributes for all Object Types, and none of the Attribute types are set to Geometry. Has anyone experienced a similar situation? If so, how did you correct it?
The error:
"Unknown DataType: '' for Column 'GeometryValue.ContentData'."Correlation code: c28c79bb-62c4-446c-aec8-bb438b985fdb
Hello Robert - Were you able to solve this? Thank you.
Hello Robert. We have the same problem. How to fix it? Thanks.
There might be a system preferences issue. Login to ALIM Web with Admin Credentials then go to System and System Preferences. Check for the Values under Geometry Specific. Copy the values from your old version to the new version. Logout and Login and check if you get the same error again.
Hello, Nitin. In the previous version of eB Web (Web App Manager v. 7.2.2) we didn`t have a Geometry Specific section. Now, after installation the new version, we have the values:
What values should we enter to disappear the error "Unknown DataType: '' for Column 'GeometryValue.ContentData'." every time we view or edit any ALIM objects?
Hi Sergey, Thank you for the information!!! Have you enabled Tracing while installing ALIM web. If yes, is it possible for you to share error details from the log file with respect to the co-relation code.
