Do you have a document that specifically spells out the SSL cert requirements in order for the SMC to work on port 443? This should spell out configuration of the cert, such as requirements in the Issuer, Subject, Key Usage, such as is FQDN required, etc.
The ALIM Implementation guide provides minimal direction and I'm running into all kinds of errors that others have posted on the Forum or in the Wiki's as well with regards to HTTPS errors and Director not connecting to the App server from a general PC.
