Our web application is behind our firewall. http://mseb000.msd.louky.local/ebweb
We have a satelite office and using the above url they ar able to use the web application. I have created the below quicklink
http://mseb000.msd.louky.local/ebweb/Contents/Query/Document?&query=(class_code='PP_APP')%20AND%20([APPLICATION%20NO]='17833')
and it works for our office but when someone in the other office tries it they receive the following error.
Does anyone have any ideas of what could be causing the issue? Thanks for your help.
eB authentication

Hi Julie,
no problem with you jumping in this one. We at Bentley actually want to encourage it! That is what this forum is for, so users can share their experience and knowledge.
Question for you and Alex... Do you use windows authentication or eB authentication to connect to eB from web interface?
thanks,

Sorry to jump in here, but Roberto we are having similar issues with some users using Quick Links that are stored within Excel spreadsheets. It only seems to happen to some users. Our eB is internal.
If a user affected logs into eB first and then clicks on the QuickLink, the document opens fine.
If they haven't logged into eB and click on the QuickLink, it gives this "cannot be found" error. Rich before thought it was because we have 2 repositories on the same web server and eB is getting confused, even though the repository group and name are in the QuickLink URL.
Sorry to jump onto Alex's problem but it happens here too and just a coincidence that I was about to log it on the forum, so decided to add onto this instead of a brand new one!
Roberto,
Your test worked.
I had them also test this URL but this one didn't work until they had logged in first with the main web application
mseb000.msd.louky.local/.../Document;p=Password1&d=Main\ebmidasdev&query=(class_code='PP_APP')%20AND%20([APPLICATION%20NO]='17833')
