Serialized items - user attributes

Question

Is it possible to add property (user attribute) to a serialized item.. (for example i want to add serial number & date purchased.

Hello Patric, 
 We misunderstood your request. 
 Here I would like to correct myself, we cannot create sub-classes in serialized items. 
 The above links shows, general steps to inherit the attributes to sub-classes. 
 Please let us know if you need anything more on this.
