 A user can&amp;#39;t add object due to no active x prompted to install. I&amp;#39;ve searched for solutions on the communities and tried all the steps including enabling the active x on the security options, but the active x never prompt. &lt;p&gt;The machine is running on 64-bit but I&amp;#39;ve used IE 32-bit to launch eB web and still the ActiveX didn&amp;#39;t prompt to install.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It might be due to bit version of browser. Make sure you are launching 32bit version browser (You can check this under Task Manager&amp;gt; Processes Tab).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If it&amp;#39;s not the case then we need to know couple things.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1) What browser do you use?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2) Are you prompted with message that activeX needs to be installed?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3) Does ActiveX gets installed. If it gets installed you should find eb.control.control.dll under Windows\Downloaded Program Files.&lt;/p&gt;
