Shauger, you were right - it was blocked. I keep forgetting this happens with .CHM files sometimes but it's not the first time. Hopefully I'll remember next time!
Patrick and David, yes the ZIP and CHM do work. I just tested the download to be sure (I'm running Windows 8.1). I clicked the Download button above, then after the ZIP file was downloaded, I extracted the CHM and double-clicked to open it as usual. I wonder if your local copy of this CHM is marked as "Blocked" on your local computer? Sometimes this happens (I don't know why). When this happens you will not see content in the content pane, and you have to open the properties of the CHM file to unblock it (see this article - digital.ni.com/.../B59D2B24D624B823862575FC0056F3D0). Although I am confused when you say you "search on a keyword" as there is no Search tab on the readme CHM. How are you searching?

Yep, can't get the .chm to work here either.
Does this file work? I placed the chm on my desktop. I open the file and search on a keyword. I select a topic and click display and nothing opens in the content pane. I double click the topic and nothing opens in the content pane.
