This article describes how to create the eb Diector shortcuts pointing to communities on different servers.
If you need to access eB Director for multiple communities on different servers on a regular basis, you can create eB Director shortcuts with command line options. These options are given below:
-s : Server Name-d : Data Source-i : Site Id (it is required parameter if options Server name and Data source are used, for Main it is 1)-n : Site Name -u : User Name-p : Password-w : Save Password (must be 'true' or 'false')-l : Use Windows Authentication (must be 'true' or 'false')
For example:
"C:\Program Files\Bentley\eB\Director\eB.Application.Director.exe" -sbsw-aww-app1 -dTEST_CS -uJIM –ppswd –i1
If –w option is set to ‘true’ then Director automatically connects to community using provided options, otherwise Director opens login box with provided options.
Site's name and id you may find by running script below.
