Currently there is no interface to easily identify if any hotfix has been applied to eB environment. We recommend to users that when a hotfix is applied to an eB environment a copy of the hotfix readme file be copied to the Server’s desktop and/or the directory where eB is installed (by default the location is C:\Program Files\Bentley\eB). Below are some tips to help identify if any hotfix is applied.
One of the quickest ways to check if hotfix is present and which one you have is to check if the files listed in the hotfix readme matches the Modified Date of the files in your server.
Start with the DB upgrade script files. Go to directory C:\Program Files\Bentley\eB\Server\Database in the eB application server using Windows explorer , sort results by Modified Date and check the dates of files Core.15.6.1.Mssql.zip and Core.15.6.1.Oracle.zip. With those dates we should be able to tell which HF was installed. If you have a different eB version then look for the same files where your version number matches the files above. For example, if you have eB version 15.4.1 then check the dates for files Core.15.4.1.Mssql.zip and Core.15.4.1.Oracle.zip
You can also check files in folder C:\Program Files\Bentley\eB\Shared. Sort results by Modified Date and check the dates of files eB.Service.Proxy.dll and eB.Service.Index.dll. If these two files have more recent dates than the rest of files in the same folder your system most likely has been updated with a hotfix. Deliver the dates to eB support and they will be able to identify the hotfix applied.
