Problem :-

Whenever you try to make the changes in the Layout editor it takes approximately 15 minutes to fetch the current layout changes in eB web.

Root Cause :-

This might be caused due to fetching old cached files.

Solution :- 

There are two methods you can reflect your changes in eB web immediately 

1. By re-saving the web.config file

• • You need to go to the C:\inetpub\wwwroot\(Virtual Directory name) For example :- C:\inetpub\wwwroot\eBnew
    
    
  • Search and open web.config file  
    
    
  • Edit and resave it
    
    
  • Open the new eB web page login with your credentials you can see the changes will be reflected immediately.

         2. Purge caches

• If you have eb URL add purgecaches.aspx at the end of the eB web Link after framework 
  
  
• For example http://dubebdev2/eBnew/Framework/purgecaches.aspx
  
  
• You will see a message that caches were successfully purged
  
  
  
  
  • Open the new eB web page login with your credentials you can see the changes will be reflected immediately.
