Problem :-
Whenever you try to make the changes in the Layout editor it takes approximately 15 minutes to fetch the current layout changes in eB web.
Root Cause :-
This might be caused due to fetching old cached files.
Solution :-
There are two methods you can reflect your changes in eB web immediately
- By re-saving the web.config file

- You need to go to the C:\inetpub\wwwroot\(Virtual Directory name) For example :- C:\inetpub\wwwroot\eBnew
- Search and open web.config file
- Edit and resave it
- Open the new eB web page login with your credentials you can see the changes will be reflected immediately.
- You need to go to the C:\inetpub\wwwroot\(Virtual Directory name) For example :- C:\inetpub\wwwroot\eBnew
2. Purge caches
- If you have eb URL add purgecaches.aspx at the end of the eB web Link after framework
- For example http://dubebdev2/eBnew/Framework/purgecaches.aspx
- You will see a message that caches were successfully purged
- Open the new eB web page login with your credentials you can see the changes will be reflected immediately.
