Problem:-
Visual Navigator via eB on Mobile devices but unsuccessful using Safari Browser on iPad Surface tablet with Windows Platform. The browser is Internet Explorer 11.
When you try to open the i.dgn file by clicking display in visual navigator option in eB web i.dgn file doesn't open up. No error shown it only displays blank screen in the visual navigation zone. The hierarchy of the objects on the left hand side is shown.
Following settings for ActiveX have been done in the IE.
- Enabled IE options
ActiveX controls and plug-ins
o -Allow ActiveX Filtering
o Disable
o -Allow previously unused ActiveX controls
o Enable
o -Allow Scriptlets
o Enable
o -Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls
o Enable
o -Binary and script behaviors
o Enable
o -Display video and animation on a webpage that
o Disable
o -Download signed ActiveX controls
o Prompt
o -Download unsigned ActiveX controls
o Prompt
o -Initialize and script ActiveX controls a not marked as safe
o Prompt
o -Only allow approved domains to use ActiveX without prompt
o Disable
o -Run ActiveX control and plug-ins
o Enable
o -Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting
o Enable
Root Cause :-
When you are trying to view idgn file for the first time it should install dgn navigator controller automatically but for some reason it doesn't install automatically.
Solution:-
You have to install dgn navigator manually. Then you can view the i.dgn file via eB Visual Navigator on Mobile devices iPad
