    Trouble shooting eBweb file upload errors

    Problem Description:

    User encounters a problem when uploading files (adding files) using eBweb.

    Cause:

    Various.

    Solution:

    Check the on screen error messages. If the error message window contains a "Details" button, click it to get more info.

    Moreover, during the file upload/transfer the eBweb activeX component writes a temporary log file in the %temp%\Bentley\eB.Control.IEControl folder. Try starting an upload and then look at the most recent folder, it will contain a log file which lists the steps the control took during transfer along with any errors the control received from WININET. Examine the log file to find the possible cause of the error.
