    Where to view “Compound Object” ?

    Background

    When a template is part of a compound objects, going to create a new object from both eB Director or eB Web that compound template will not be there.

    Steps to Accomplish

    Viewing and verifying a Compound Objects:
    Checking in eB Director > System Admin > Information Modeling > Compound objects, expand and select each of the objects in that node in turn (see fig. 1.) There in the content area will display the template list included in them. 
     
     
    When a template is part of a compound objects, going to create a new object from both eB Director or eB Web that compound template will not be there.

    Reason

    Templates that are part of compound objects (like change package, for instance), are not designed as templates available for individually use.
