Problem Description:
User gets an error saying "Failed to fill template dropdown" when attempting to Bulk Import / Update Documents.
Cause:
The user does not have permissions (which may include scope access) on the template defined in Bulk Transaction Preferences screen.
Solution:
Grant the user permissions (including scope access) to the template defined in Bulk Transaction Preferences screen. Then have the user re-login to eBweb to try again.
If the error persists (even after the appropriate permissions and scope access are granted), please do the following:
- Login to eBweb as the ADMIN user
- Go to the Bulk Transaction Preferences screen
- Make a note of the current Class and Template configurations
- From the Class of the Configuration Template dropdown, select a different class
- From the Template Name of the Configuration Template dropdown, select any available template
- Click the Update button
- From the Class of the Configuration Template dropdown, re-select the class noted in step #3 above
- From the Template Name of the Configuration Template dropdown, re-select the template noted in step #3 above
- Click the Update button
