Problem Description:

When users try to create a new revision for any document, the Create New Revision wizard window comes up blank, with just the words "Copy in progress" and "Starting copy..." visible, but never finishes copying/processing. This happens in Internet Explorer version 11 (11.0.9600.18697 to be exact).

Cause:

This is caused by I.E.'s Enterprise Mode and Document Mode being set to lower than 10.

Solution:

1. Run I.E.
2. Navigate to the document then launch "Create new Revision" wizard.
3. While focus on "Create New Revision" window press F12 key on keyboard (may require press Fn+F12 on laptops).
4. The Developer tools window will open. Unpin the developer tools pane to display in separate window side by side IE window.
5. In Developer tools ensure in "Emulation" tab (already selected),
6. Set Browser Profile = Desktop
7. Set Document Mode = 10
8. The wizard window will refresh and should display correctly.
9.  Click “Create Revision” to complete the wizard.
