Community Not Visible while login


Problem Description:

When we try to login to eB Web or Director, we cannot see our community to select in the drop down:

Root Cause:

It might be because of the server, which is not able to communicate with the community. To confirm that, we can login to the SMC and highlight the required community name and try to log in.

We might get the below error message:

It might be because of either App server network configuration or connection with the Datasource

Solution:

To confirm the problem and its resolution follow the below options

1) Check the if it is communicating with the datasource.

eB SMC > Expand Datasource and Highlight > Click On Datasource Tab > Click Test Connection:

2) If option 1 is successful, Try to deselect the community and reboot the server.
I believe this issue comes because of the IP mismatch or network changes somehow for App server. So restart and relinking to the community should do the job and starting working as before.
