Problem Description:
User gets the following error when trying to upload a PDF file using eBweb:
'The signature of the uploaded file does not match that sent by the client'
Cause:
This actual cause of the error is unknown as of writing. This error has occurred to "PDF 1.5 (Acrobat 6.x)" files being added in eBweb.
Solution:
Open the file in Acrobat and use File -> Properties to find out your file's version. If the version is 1.5 (Acrobat 6.x), then use Acrobat's File -> Save As option to save the file to a different folder (so that you can keep the original filename). Upload this newly created file using eBweb.
Workaround:
If you do not want to use the Acrobat File -> Save As option to create a new file, then use eB Director to upload the original file.

Verified with web server framework version 19.1.23.47 and version 16.7.47 of the AssetWise Server:
The following three versions of PDF file can be uploaded to ALIM Web without problems:
1.3 (Acrobat 4.x)
1.4 (Acrobat 5.x)
1.5 (Acrobat 6.x)
