Problem Description:
In eBweb, user does not see the "New Revision" link/command on the Actions menu, even the user has Edit permission on the document.
Cause:
The user is missing one or both of the permissions described in the Solution section below.
Solution:
Make sure the user has the following permissions:
- In the document template's Template Security topic, make sure the user has the "Can Use" permission*
- In System Admin > Security > Permissions > New Object Instances > Add New Revision or Version, make sure the user is added to the Persons topic
*Note that if the document is in a sub-scope then the user must have the Member-Subscope role, with the Member-Subscope role granted the "Can Use" permission for the document template.
