Problem:

In the eB director > explore when you click on the “+” sign on the location or on the organization you get the timeout error after 1 min.

Error: 

The request channel timed out while waiting for a reply after 00:00:59.9969989. Increase the timeout value passed to the call to Request or increase the SendTimeout value on the Binding. The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout.

Workaround:

Go to eB director > Tools  > Options > Paging

And change the Search Result size and Tree page size as shown below.

It must resolve your issue.
