Getting error as 'This site can't be reached' while accessing eB/ALIM web from local desktop/laptop

Problem:

Getting error while accessing eB/ALIM ‘This Site Can’t Be Reached’ or ‘Can’t reach this page’

Google Chrome shows the following error:

Microsoft Edge shows the following error : 

Workaround:

The identified root cause for this issue is Windows Update. It often shows up after installing Windows Updates.

Following setting needs to be done on the end-user system laptop/desktop

Method 1. Disable TCP Fast Open feature on Edge:

1. Launch Microsoft Edge.
2. In the URL address bar, type about:flags.
3. Look for Enable TCP Fast Open under Networking and uncheck it.
4. Restart Edge.

Method 2. Use the DNS flush command:

1. Type Windows key + R to open the command prompt.
2. In the Search box, type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter. A message will appear stating Windows IP configuration successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.
3. To exit the command prompt, type exit and press Enter.
