Problem Description:

When a new Placeholder is created in Assetwise it is not displaying the ProjectWise Link in Assetwise for that Placeholder.

Solution:

If you create any placeholder and you are checking for ProjectWise link and it is not coming. Then firstly go to ‘System Management Console’ and then to “Work Queue” as per below screenshot.

Then check the below things.

1. Is the Work Queue working correctly. It is not ‘disabled’ or not too many jobs are there in a “ready” state. If Work Queue is disabled then ‘Enable’ it, if too many jobs are stuck then try to give a ‘Wakeup’ call to those jobs.
2. Check that the job is not stuck in SMC in error state. If it is stuck then try to “Resubmit” it if it is in Error State.

OR

Check the Upload excel file and make sure the values are selected instead of a copy-paste.

Sometimes values get populated but the respective link doesn't get generated e.g Location Code
