Problem Description:

Documents can only be found in a wildcard search but not by their full document numbers (prefixes). For example document "3H62-77777" can only be found if the search criteria is "3H62%". But it cannot be found if the search criteria is "3H62-77777".

Cause:

Notice the dash character "-" in the document name. There are two dash characters which are visually the same to human eyes. The data stored in the database may not be the dash character entered in the search criteria.

Solution:

Make sure the "-" entered in the search criteria is the same as the "-" stored in the database. You may need to check (and possibly update/correct) the data stored in the database. See details in SR 7001364147.
