Getting Error “A Serialised Item is currently fitted into this Tag. You must remove the Serialised Item first” while removing Installed Item from TAG

Problem:

Getting Error “A Serialised Item is currently fitted into this Tag. You must remove the Serialised Item first” while removing Installed Item from TAG

Workaround:

The reason you are not able to remove Installed Item is that Serialised Item is already configured which can be seen in “As Configured” Object

So first you have to remove ‘As Configured’ Object. Follow Below Steps for the same.

• Click on Delete Icon on the respective ‘As Configured’ item
• It will ask for Location

• Select appropriate location example ‘0001’
• Click on Next
• Select the Service value (as per your convenience, I have selected serviceable for example)

• Click on Finish
• Which will remove the ‘As configured’ Serial Object
• Then remove the Installed Item from the TAG by clicking the delete icon as shown below

• Further, If you want to remove an Equivalent Item you can remove it by clicking the Delete Icon from the Equivalent Item
