The objects class has no file container template specified in the extended behavior, the file container cannot be created. This might be on Distribution Order, Virtual Item Group or any other Object within ALIM.
To create a New File Container go to View > System Administration.
For this exercise I will use Distribution for an example but the same method can be use to create File Container on most of ALIM's Object.
From System Admin Navigate to Information Modeling > Classes & Attributes
Select the object, that you want to create a File Container for. Clink on the Class level of the object. The Class detail will open in the Content Pane.
Click on the "Extended Behavior" Topic to extend it.
From the Extended Behavior screen select the drop down box and select DefaultFileContainerTemplate (There is an objection to create multiple Templates).
Select the tick next to Automatically Create File Container When the Distribution Order of this class is created.
Click save and exit.
You have now successfully created a File Container for a Distribution Order.
For creating Multiple Container Templates Browse to Document object and create a new class with a Type off "File Container"
Create a Template from this newly created Class
Customize the template with by creating a Document_Copy
Make sure that you Approve the Template.
Refresh F5
You will now see your newly created File Container Template in Extended behavior
