Missing Community on SMC

Problem :

User lost or deleted there Community from the SMC

Solution:

If the Community existed previously and was lost or deleted for some reason, the history of the Community configuration would have been saved in C:\ProgramData\Bentley\eB folder and available for reconfiguring in the SMC.

 

Please follow the instructions to make the Community visible again.

 

To add a Community

  1. Open AssetWise System Management Console (Start > Bentley > eB System Management Console).
  2. In the Explorer pane, expand Servers > your_server.

 

 

 

 3.Right-click the Communities node and select Add Community.

The New Community Properties dialog opens.

 

 

  1. From the Application Server list, enter or select the name of the computer on which AssetWise Information Integrity Server is installed.

        5. From the Authentication list, select either Basic Sign-on or Basic Sign-On (Over Web).

  1. From the Datasource list, select the name of a datasource running on the server selected in the Application Server field.

           This information should be in your AssetWise Installation Worksheet (Datasource name).

  1. In the Service Login Information section, enter the credentials Company ADMIN user account and password

 Click OK
