Problem

 Very odd occurance.  User searches for a document, and clicks on the document number in the hotlist (so there are no issues with security).
The document appears for a split second before the pane goes blank.

Solution

 The issue was limited to a few PCs, rather than eB user profiles.  An update of security patches updated some graphics drivers and the issue was resolved.
