You perform a search where the results are spread over a number of pages. You press the 'next page' link and it either does nothing, or only displays a limited number of rows.
The number of rows that appear on each page is linked directly to your preferences. Within the preferences there is a search - max rows to return.
If you perform a search that has 1010 hits and your preferences are set to 100, you will have 10 pages of 100 rows and 1 page of 10 rows.
However, in the SMC, highlight the datasource, you see that there is a tab called search. There is a value for maximum inner rows. This setting limits the total number of rows to bring back, to aid overall performance. If this figure is less than the number brought back in your search results, then you have the issue reported.
For example, if the maximum inner rows is set to 500, and your prefereces are set to 100, when you click 'next page' you will scroll through the first 5 pages fine, and then no more results will be available.
Solution is to increase the 'maximum inner rows' value, or define your search criteria more specifically.
