AssetWise ALIM expands linear network management capabilities to include integrated linear referencing for roads!

Next month Bentley will be launching an expansion of AssetWise ALIM to support the management of linear road networks. This expansion is exciting for me as it builds on the proven and successful Multiple Linear Referencing System that I have been fortunate enough to work with over the past decade. We will be launching AssetWise ALIM Linear Network Management at the 2017 AASHTO GIS for Transportation Symposium, April 10-13 in Phoenix, Arizona. Special Interest Group Workshop at GIS-T

In the SIG workshop my colleagues will introduce you to the new state of the art AssetWise ALIM network management solution that delivers a modern user interface against a proven LRS that has already been successfully implemented around the globe. We will share with you our vision of how you can prepare yourself for the growing demand of your business users to become more connected. This includes developing detailed 3D models of your network and asset information to enhance the way you manage your transportation network infrastructure, providing better decision support. We will discuss how you can capture imagery and complete reality models at various stages of completion, including creating georeferenced models from imagery provided. Not only do you have a choice once again on how you manage your networks you also have a path forward to delivering what your business users are demanding from you.
