Managed Service FTP - For EtoN5 Inspections

Dear Manage service TMA user;

With the implementation of EtoN6 all Inspections are sent via the Web Service like notices and permits making the EToN 5 Inspection batch process via FTP redundant.

Bentley would like to switch off the AutoFTP process as it is no longer required, so we are hereby giving you notice of our intention.

The plan is to switch it off by the end of the year and any users who would like to keep the AutoFTP running should contact their account manager to discuss this possibility.

According to the EToN6 specification it states that “Between October 2013 and 1 April 2014 regulated notifications may take the form set out in either specification (version 6) or the previous specification (version 5).  From 1st April 2014 they must comply with this specification.”

By switching off the AutoFTP process you will not be able to send or receive any inspections via FTP after December 2015.  Any HA’s or Works Promoters who cannot handle EToN6 inspections will need to find alternative measures for sending or receiving inspection batches if they cannot conform to the EToN6 Specification.

Regards
