Hi All.
New to this forum, and would appreciate any help.
We use exor assetwiseonline to login jobs.
All was going well ,until yesterday , when there was a Java update to 1.8 Version 131 ( Before that the Java was 1.80 Version 121 )
Launched the application and got an warning about one of the web addresses formssolo03.assetwiseonline.bentley.com
Added this to the Exception List
Re-launched the app - was able to get through , until I had selected the job and wanted to load the links- At that point the app hangs.
Clearly the problem , is that the Java Update is causing a problem
I uninstalled the Java , and re-installed the older version
It took me sometime to find it , as the Oracle /Java download is not user friendly to find older versions
- but that seem to be backward step.
I can get so far.
But when I would expect the Java plugin to load - I get nothing.
Therefore
1. Can anybody offer any suggestions?
2. Where can I get hold of the best version of Java to use with this app , I think it is 1.6
Regards and thanks for any help

Hi Jim, I'll have a try with the latest Java 1.8 version. Please can you give me step by step to reproduce the error? I wasn't sure which part of the application is being used from the description above. Thanks in advance!

Hi Sarah.
Thanks for the info.
I had just got to the point of doing some screen shoots- which I have
attached for your easy reference.
I wonder if I could push my luck.
I want to the machine back to Java version 1.8.0_121
I have picked these details up from another pc we use
Java SE Runtime Environment (Build 1.8.0_121-b13)
Java Hotspot(TM) client VM (Build 24.121-b13 mixed mode)
Im having trouble finding the client version - can you help?
Also with any other settings we might need to set - Either in the Java
Configuration and Internet Explorer
Thanks and Regards
