Severe Processing Error in UKPMS condition data stage 2 loading

Loading UKPMS condition data fails to complete process at stage 2, process remains running. Correct Inventory Load Errors form shows a Severe Processing Error.

  • If there is a lot of data being processed it could be that it's still running.  The Correct Load Errors form will show 'Severe Processing Error' until the load is complete, so it's best not to look in there until it's either finished or shows an error in the spooled output.  As the UKPMS files can be very large we normally recommend splitting them down to improve loader efficiency, especially with machine surveys like SCANNER.

    If the load has been running for a very long time and you're not sure it is still processing, I would recommend checking the listener debug windows on the application server, if they are running in debug mode - sometimes this gives details of any issues encountered (if any). Another way to check if the process is still running is to run module GRI9998 (GRI Server Test) from the fastpath - the listeners only process one module at a time so if GRI9998 runs then the loader process will have stopped.
