Standard Text Lost

Post raised on behalf of user:

We have inserted new standard text records for the TMA1001 Noticing Assistant form using the HIG4030 Standard Text Maintenance form. These records are shown in the standard text options in the TMA1001 form as expected, but when sending a notice nothing is visible.

Product: Exor TMA Noticing Manager

Version: 4.4.0.0

  • New standard text items created via the Standard Text Maintenance form HIG4010, then need to be granted to users via the Standard Text Usage form HIG4020. Users can then choose if they dont want to see some of the granted text items via the My Standard Text Usage form HIG4025.

For reference see the Exor General System Admin Guide.

The 4.5.0.0 version can be found here:

  • Response from user:

I access standard text through the usual ‘links’ on the toolbar to open the ‘works’ then open  noticing assistant to send ‘work comment’ then right click to access standard text. Sending a timing direction is done   through the usual ‘links’ on the toolbar to open the ‘works’ then ‘links’ again to bring up the Direction option then after selecting the  ‘1600’ option I right click again to access standard text. This is the first time I have had to input standard text as the person who did it originally left the council before I could ask them how they did it. So I know I am missing a simple thing but still  can’t see what.

  • I’ve tried this and I cannot replicate the same problem. I suspect the problem could be caused by the user doing something slightly different to me.

Please could you send me a detailed step by step list of precisely what you do to replicate this, from initially logging in to the application, to replicating the problem. Please include as much detail as possible, including any links between forms, data changes to the works record and the data that is set in the standard text field itself.
