If there is a problem loading a transaction, then the ‘Status’ will be set to ‘Pending Processing’. Pending transactions will be retried until the timeout period ends. Once the timeout period ends, the transaction will attempt to be processed, possibly resulting in an error but this would depend on the notice and related data.
If Product Option HOLDPNDING is set to ‘Y’ pending transactions will be held back if a previous transaction has not arrived or been successfully processed. This is designed to stop notice sequence problems when nultiple notces are sent at the same time, but dont arrive in the same order.
Product Option PNDNGTIME will determine how long a 'Pending Processing' transaction will be held at 'Pending' for. By defualt this is set to 720 minutes (12 hours).
