By default users must enter dates in a DD-MON-YYYY format in any form. Some users don't like to use this format and it is possible to modify your server to allow almost any date format to be entered. You can even configure the server so users only need to enter the day and the rest will be automatically populated using the current month and year.
It is also be worth noting that the F3 button will insert todays date.
Any users still using an Oracle 10g application server should refer to the Product Installation and Upgrade guide for your version of Exor.
If you are using Exor version 220.127.116.11. or late,r then you should be using an Oracle 11g application server and you will need to make the following changes:
You shouldnt need to restart the server for changes to take effect. Users should now be able to enter dates in any of the following formats, but you could add other formats to the new default.env parameter if required:
