Oracle Directory Java Permissions

When experiencing problems with files in Oracle Directories you may be asked to refresh the Java Permissions for a directory.

To do this:

1. Open the HIG1895 exor>Directory Management>Directories form
2. Select the directory you need to refresh permissions for
3. Make a note of all roles and modes shown on the Roles tab for that directory, then delete each role using the delete button on the toolbar.
4. Save the changes.
5. Add each role back to the directory using the same mode as before
6. Save the changes. You should see a tick in the applied box
7. Select the Java Role Privs tab and click All Off for each role
8. Save the changes.
9. Click the All On button for each role.
10. Save the changes.

NOTE: You may need to log out of the application and close all internet browser windows before the changes have an effect.
