ORA-29283 error appears when attaching a new document.

      Product(s): Exor Enquiry Manager
      Version(s): 04.05.00.00
      Environment: N/A
      Area: Other
      Subarea: N/A

    Error Message

FRM 40735: WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-29283

    Explanation

The user tried to create new associated document in DOC0120.

After pressing Save and Exit button got the error. “FRM 40735: WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-29283”

In most cases the ORA-29283 error raises if directory access was denied by the operating system.

    How to Avoid

In Document Locations form (DOC0118) query back the location data that you use attaching the document (screenshot is just as example)

and make sure that location's directory exists and oracle OS user has full access to it (read and write access).

If Location type is Oracle directories then you need to reassign correct directory on database server, reassign roles, re-assign java privs in Directories from (HIG1895). Java privileges must be set ON for HIG_USER as in screenshot below.
