Problem

An error message “M_MGR-0267: Contract out of date or has inappropriate status” appears on instructing work orders.

Solution

Check what date is assigned to Target Complete on MAI3800 Work Order form for the particular work order and check if the contract’s Year End Date on the Contracts form (MAI3880) is greater than Target Complete date.  If the Year End Date is less than the Target Complete, increase Year End Date, making it greater than the Target Complete by going to the Contracts form (MAI3880). Select the contract. Set it INACTIVE. Save. Change the Year End Date. Save. Set the contract to ACTIVE and save again.
