Notice Errors and Warnings can be amended to show as either an error or warning. In cases where they are compulsory you cannot amend them.
In Some cases the users advised they are not able to issue a notice because there is an error in the noticing assistant (tma1001). As there is an Error the ‘issue notice’ button is greyed out.
Make a note of the message which is at error and then Go to TMA > Reference Data > Activities > Notice Warning. Put the form in query mode and query back the warning/error which was displayed in tma1001. There are 2 drop down boxes on 'on send' and one 'on receive' These mean you can customise either just what is sent or what is received. In the drop down you can choose Warning, Error or Not Used. If you set something to a warning, you will be alerted of this in tma1001 but it will not prevent the notice from being issued. If you set it to Error then the issue notice button is greyed out and so a user cannot issue the notice until they resolve the error.
Once you have made the change in the notice warning form, save then changes and then try to reissue the notice.
If you feel it should not error then as long as the 'compulsory' check box is not ticked, you can amend the error to a warning.
