'Divisor is equal to zero' error in UKPMS reports

    Applies To
    Product(s): Exor UKPMS
    Version(s): 04.05.40.01
    Environment: N\A
    Area: Reports
    Subarea: N\A

    Problem Description

Several UKPMS reports result in ORA-01476: divisor is equal to zero error.

    Steps to Resolve

    1. Create views in ukp0050 form.
    2. Check if view v_ukpms_road_section exists in the database and if it has records in it. Contact Bentley Support if you found that it does not exists or has no data.
    3. If v_ukpms_road_section looks OK please contact Bentley support and ask for a script (ukp_missing_attribs.sql) that checks if all sections in your Network selection have values entered for attributes like road type, road hierarchy and number of lanes.
    4. If running the script there are listed sections whose lanes are ‘0’ (zero), so these sections should be excluded because these sections stop the report. Solution is to exclude these sections from the particular pass (or create another pass without these sections) and run the report again.
