Problem Description
When using the GIS Layer Tool to create an asset layer, following errors occur:
ORA-00001: unique constraint (****.NTH_UK) violated
ORA-06512: at "*****.NM3INS", line 17280
ORA-06512: at "*****.NM3SDM", line 1896
ORA-06512: at "*****.NM3SDM", line 3166
ORA-06512: at line 1
or sometimes
name is already used by an existing object
Steps to Resolve
Case 1: The NTH_UK constraint violation means that the theme name(s) is trying to create already exist in the NM_THEMES_ALL table. Make sure you click on the [Get Themes] button before they try to create the theme from scratch. You probably have to delete them first.
HOWEVER, if the [get themes] button does not return any records, it means that it has not been created correctly in the first place and you may have to remove it using sql.
Case 2: The short description of the asset may be the same as another asset. The layer tool might have used this duplicated name when making asset meta-model.
